查爾斯庫克是納帕谷的第一家酒莊。由著名的彼得蒙大衛家族于1861年創建而成。
酒莊致力于釀造高品質的葡萄酒。酒莊的釀酒師以及管理者皆是納帕谷最具經驗的專家。以小彼得蒙大衛為主的團隊堅持以“質量遠勝于數量”為宗旨，只在豐收季節采摘高質量的葡萄。
好的葡萄，要求天時地利人和。在1999到2009期間，酒莊開始采用波爾多的一些克隆葡萄進行種植。酒莊2010年份的波爾多紅葡萄酒正是用這些葡萄釀造而成，口感飽滿，層次分明。
酒莊所擁有的850公頃的11個葡萄園均為可持續性種植，是名符其實的納帕谷最佳酒莊之一。
